To Whom It May Concern:
My name is Slayer Grey. If I haven’t opened the door by now, I’m not here or ignoring you―which ever helps you sleep at night.
I’m looking for my wife, Genevieve. She’s five-foot-one with the prettiest, softest, most amazing wine-colored hair you could imagine, and the brightest, shiniest, beautiful-est gray eyes you’ve ever seen.
Let me know immediately if you’ve seen her. Leave a note or something telling me where. It’ll make me less likely to kill you for lying to me about this. Seriously. Don’t try to keep her either. She’s mine. I married her first.
I’ve been looking for her for several days, and so far, have no ideas as to where she may be. It’s kinda annoying, having to deal with a smart kidnapper. Really, it is. Try it sometime.
Actually wait. No, I take it back. Don’t try it. Do NOT try to deal with a smart kidnapper. You may have as much luck as I have―meaning, not much.
If you're unable to reach me, contact Marc Fantam or Kiana Merjette. They'll get to me and tell me exactly what you said, so you better not lie.
Also, if you see a guy with dark hair that's kinda tan, and fairly tall, tell him I'm looking for him, and walk away. Just walk away. Ignore him after that.
Slayer scowled as he re-read his note. It got off track several times, but he figured it would give him the desired effect. He nodded to himself before hanging it on the door of Marc and Kiana's house, figuring they wouldn't mind. They cared about his Gem too, after all. Not as much as he did, but they still cared.
Don't worry, Genny. I'm gonna find you.
I really love how we both posted something letter related around the same time. That was pretty cool. Also, I really love this because you can get an insight to Slayer's mind. The letter was a lot more personal and you could feel how much he loves his wife. I learned a lot about Slayer from this than most of the other writing involving him. It was really well writing and captivating. After reading it, I wanted to read more! You're such a talented writer. Love you, Britt! -Kim Wilson
