St. LoUiS tRiP by matty b

number eighteen

Earlier this year, I found out that Twenty One Pilots were on a tour and they were coming close to us. I asked my mom if we could go and she agreed to take me, so she got me tickets for my birthday. The concert we got tickets to was in St. Louis, Missouri. I brought Karlee, Austin, and my cousin Kyle with me to the concert.
On August 2nd, the day of the concert, we headed to St. Louis at around nine o'clock a.m. It only took us about three or four hours to get there, so it wasn't a bad drive.
The concert didn't start until seven p.m., so we went to a museum to pass the time.
This was no ordinary museum. It was called "City Museum". It's basically a huge playground for all ages. There are caves and tunnels and slides and anything you can think of. It was so cool. It's my new favorite place.
My favorite part was on the roof. On the roof of the eleven story building, there was a bus hanging off of the side of it. It was kind of scary thinking about how high we were, but it was great. There was also a Ferris Wheel on the top of the building. I'm afraid of heights, so I didn't ride it, but Karlee and Austin did. They said it was scary because of how fast it was going and hour high it was.
After the really cool museum, we ate at a sketchy Taco Bell. I swear there was a bullet hole in the window, but that's none of my business. Anyways, we went to the concert after that. We waited in line for about twenty minutes, then got our seats. We didn't exactly have the best seats in the house, but I didn't really care because I just wanted to see Josh and Tyler. The opening acts played for. couple hours, then TØP came out. It was a really good concert and I'm really glad we got to go.
We drove home the same night, which was exhausting because we didn't leave the concert until almost midnight. But we made it, and it was all worth it it in the long run.

  1. I'm glad all of you had a good time at the museum and at the concert. I have been to St. Louis and it is a long drive there and back. My mom and I had to stop that morning driving back and sleep at a hotel. But, I have heard about that museum with the bus hanging of the side and really want to go. I don't know if I would be able to ride the Farris wheel either though. but I am also going to see Twenty One Pilots next year and am so excited. Hopefully my experience at their concert will be just as great as yours was! - Chloe Reese
