Today was the first day of school. I gotta say, I have not been looking forward to school at all. In my opinion, the summer went by way too fast. With school comes the stress and everything else. The early mornings that we have to wake up, the awful homework that we get, the tests that some of us can study for for hours upon hours and still not make as good of a grade as we wanted, the constantly wondering if you are taking the right classes for the Associate's Degree (is this just me or?), etc. Then, there's also the fact that other than this year, we only have one more year to go in high school. It's going to be so sad. The same group of people that you have been with many years in school are going their seperate ways. After highschool, there's college (for some people) and we become adults and are officially thrown into the real world. You become flooded with responsibilities and have to move out of your parents' house and get your own. Honestly, I'm not ready for it. At all.
Flex schedule. I think it is pretty cool, honestly. Not going to lie, I'm a little jealous that I couldn't get one of the flex schedules, but, I'm happy for the people who do have the flex schedules. I think it makes the hallways less crowded and I noticed that there aren't near as many people during lunch time. I'm sure the lunch ladies and some of the staff are happy about that.
Hmm, I'm already starting to run out of ideas on what to write. This is not good. I've got one halfway done and 10 more to go. Fantastic.
I'm going to talk about teachers real quick. I don't think that teachers get near the amount of appreciation that they should get. Teachers are simply amazing. Most of them work their behinds off so that us students learn what we need to in the future. I don't even know what teachers make, but I already know that it is not enough.
