The most important day of my life was when I presented at ASU for the Environmentors club. That day I experienced things I wasn't aware that I was capable of  feeling, patience for examples sake.
I learned an ample of skills that will help for later on. I went to ASU that day with a project I had been working on for a few months and had finally managed to sum it up with a less than subpar poster but excellent presentation in my opinion.  We got there early and took quite a while to find our table, but wondering around the college campus was exciting even though we were a little lost and it was extremely windy. After finally getting settled at our table it was finally time for me to set up my poster to present to the judges. The frames for the poster were set up and ready to go; only to be immediately to be blown over  and keep blowing over for the duration of our wait for the first judge. All of the girls presenting were getting frustrated over the poster boards until we all settled on leaning them against the table and applying many layers of tape.
Finally after an hour of struggle we were presented with the first judge. Never in my life have I had that many feeling come over mean in the ten minutes it took the first girl to present as I got over my panic and thought about what I was going to say. The judge finished marking her clipboard and stood before me at last. I took a second to arrange my thoughts and began my presentation despite the wind and toddlers laughing and screaming. I finished strong except for a few words that I roughly stumbled over and stuttered a few times. And then the wait began again. The judges were few and almost an hour apart so there was a long period of standing and shivering in the cold shade.
Just before my final judge and presentation I was stopped by the local new anchor and he interviewed my project to be put on the five o’clock news. Finally I presented to the finally to the last judge and ended my day strong. And it turns out that I, with two other girls, won the chance to present in washington D.C. It was one of the most exciting things i’ve ever done. The thrill of presenting at a college and being in an official competition.

It was trying to think of something that could count as the most important day of my life. Thankfully I am young enough that an even better day may have yet to come. But this was the most important day of my life so far.
