From reading all of your posts, it seems like you have had a pretty fun summer. It's good to be able to hang out with your friends and family all together. I always love the idea of decking out for holidays, it all just seems so fun. You don't see a lot of people that decorate for the fourth of july besides some flags on your porch. When you're in school, they tell you what the meaning is, but I don't think a lot of kids actually know what it is, I know I didn't. I didn't start realizing how important the meaning behind that holiday actually was until around the age of 11. I wholeheartedly agree with you about thanking those who are or was in service, because as you said, they give up a lot for our country to be free.
