God is our hope, when people of the world let us down, when we get hurt, when we think we aren’t good enough, we always have heaven to look forward to. Hebrew 13:14, For this world is not our permanent home; we are looking forward to a home yet to come.
God is our defender. He will never put us through something we cannot handle. Just like David, he was only a little boy when he killed Goliath, but because he trusted in God, he protected him. If we put our faith in God, he will never forsake us.
He is our redeemer. He keeps his promises to us & never abandons us, even when we are in the deepest hole we dug ourselves into. He forgives and he loves us, even when you feel like nobody else does. He promised us a hope and a future. He will never let us down. Jeremiah 29:11, This is what the LORD says: "You will be in Babylon for seventy years. But then I will come and do for you all the good things I have promised, and I will bring you home again.
He is a comforter and healer. Psalms 34:18 says “The LORD is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed” He is always there.
Lastly he is trustworthy. Have confidence in him because he has loved you throughout every sin, every hurt, every loss, and every tear. He has victory over death & nothing can stop his unending love. Psalms 27:13, “I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.” And lastly Philippians 1:6, “being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Jesus says he will NEVER stop loving us or forsake us until the end. This is a big promise, and he makes it because he loves us.
To sum up these verses I want to point out God has ever quality of a great best friend. Let him be your bestfriend. He helps. Pray and ask him for advice, give him your heart and let him lead your life. Everyone of us make mistakes & we will never be perfect. God understands that, but not letting the best friend available be that, he doesn’t. He wants to help us. He wants each of you to know that he loves you. And he wants you to know whatever you’re carrying around in your suitcase. He can take care of it. And he can make a way.
