College- Wesley Jordan (#3)

Most people have a dream to go to college and work hard to become what they have always wanted to be. Other people have different dreams or desires in their life. For me, I plan on going to college to be a orthodontist. My plan is to get threw the next two years of my High School year. All I have in High School is my Junior year and my Senior year and I can't wait for it to be over with. The next step to my plan is to go to ASU. The reason I plan on going to ASU is because its close to home and I wouldn't have to stay in any dorms or get my own place. I will go to ASU for about four years and if everything goes as planned I will graduate from ASU with Bachelor of Science in Biology. My next part of my plan requires me to move to or closer to Memphis. In order to get out of paying out of state tuition you have to live in the same state. The school is University of Tennessee College of Dentistry. Going to this school it will take me six years to get my orthodontist degree. And that is if everything goes right and I pass all of my classes. I want to keep telling myself that college isn't going to be that hard but my sister and my parents tell me that it is going to be hard but I can do it. I do believe that it will probably be hard but once it is all over and I have a job, it will be worth. Especially when the money starts coming in. The next step in my plan is in fact to try to find a job somewhere that is needing a orthodontist. I have heard that it is hard to get a job being a orthodontist but if I can't find a job then I will just have to open up my own Orthodontics place and just go from there. But I'm sure that I will be able to find a job somewhere in Arkansas.

  1. That's a great plan you have! I wish you the best of luck in you're future and I hope you achieve all the goals that you have set. Speaking of which, I'm very proud of you for setting you goals so high and having for being so determined. Maybe we can help each other out in our classes at ASU. I promise that I will always be up for you as a study buddy. I know you'll do great, Wes. It won't be an easy road, but it will all be worth it in the end. Keep your head up and never give up
