If
you know me, the you now how organized I am. There is nothing I hate
more than being messy. If you were to look in my backpack, all my
books, binders, and folders are in order by glass. My notes are
ALWAYS highlighted with different colors. For example, blue is for
definitions, orange are key facts, yellow is for very important
information, and so on. A clean room is a must. I won't do anything
until my room is clean. Everything has a place and I expect it be in
there unless I am using it. It drives me absolutely nuts when people
use my stuff and don't put it in the correct place. That's like
asking for a death wish from me. I have specific laundry days. I do
my own laundry on Sundays and Wednesdays unless I need something
specific washed. No one is allowed to do my laundry because I don't
want them to accidentally mess something up. I have to put my laundry
up as soon as it's done in the dryer. I also have to match my socks
before they are put up. If you want something done right, then do it
yourself. Clean floors are one of the most satisfying things to me. I
sweep and mop my room so much! It just grosses me out when the floor
is disgusting. I also just really like the way my wood floors shine
when they are clean. I would probably be love it if someone would put
me in a room and just let me organize everything. Not all my friends
are as organized as I am and it really bothers me sometimes. I'm
talking about Sydney. My closet is also a very big deal for me. It is
organized by dresses, tank tops, short sleeve shirts, long sleeve
shirts, flannels, sweaters, pullovers, jackets, skinny jeans, then
regular jeans. Neatness makes me happy.

I wish my daughter was like you.
ReplyDeleteSame as you I also have a little OCD. I like my room clean and every thing has a spot. I can literally describe to someone where something goes in my room and they know where it is. I also like my notes to be need so I can understand them and find them when I need them. Highlighting notes that way may be very helpful. but I'm not that OCD, that I do laundry but forget about it in the dryer until we have to use it again. I also have jewelry laying on my dresser for about a day when I come home and take it off. but I do like having everything in a designated spot like you. All my perfumes are in one place, my movies are stacked on my desk, my board games are stacked under my bed, and my clothes are in my closet and folded nicely in my drawers. I also love to be neat.

See Sam I just think you have a different definition of organized than I do. I could look around my room right now and what you would say is a total mess is perfectly organized to me. It is just organized in a different way. I know the general area where everything is because that's where I remember seeing it there last. If everything had its own spot and something got moved out of its spot it would be lost, but if the spot is where it was last left then it's always where it belongs. That's how I organize.
