We all have pet peeves, right? Of course. The definition of a pet peeve is something that someone finds particularly annoying. I'm going to ask some people what their biggest pet peeves are and share them with you. Then, I will list a few of the things I consider to be my pet peeves.
Brittney Sain: "When people stare at me, when people know I don't like them and still try to talk to me, and when people chew with their mouth open and smack their gum".
Haven Robertson: "My biggest pet peeves are disrespectful people, when people deliberately try to make you angry, selfish people, when people slide or drag their feet across the floor, cocky people, when songs repeat themselves, and when people make sound affects when they play sports."
Reagan Dodd: "Whenever somebody leaves their like rooms and stuff really dirty, when people are hypocrites, when people don't know how to drive, when people drink directly from the milk carton or juice container, and people who don't wash their hands after using the bathroom."
Landon Moyer: "When people lie to you, when people get confused, when people avoid you, and when people ignore you."
Kenadi Calahan: "When someone leaves the light on, when someone doesn't shut the door, when I get ignored, when someone lies to me and when Madison talks to me."
Jase Whitfield: "Loud people and being ignored."
Madison Wiggins: "When people act fake towards you, when people can't take a joke, and when people think they're better than everyone else."
My biggest pet peeves include:
-when people use "was" instead of "were" when they're talking or typing.
-when people don't use the correct "their, there, they're", "your, you're", and "too, to, two".
-when people talk about themselves all the time.
-when people talk crap about people they claim to be friends with. (i mean we've all done it, but still)
-when people chew with their mouth open.
From asking all these people about their pet peeves, I realized that most of them had to do with actions made by people.
I can relate to a lot of what people said in this post. Especially with Reagan Dodd on hypocrites and you,on incorrect grammar. That is something I can't stand and drives me insane when other people do it. I use incorrect grammar all the time. I also hate when something isn't done right, or as well as it could be done. Probably one of my biggest pet peeves is when people say "Ya, know?" when talking. No I don't know. If I knew I wouldn't be talking to you. Harrison McCall #20
