As summer is ending I am reflecting back on how much fun this summer has been. I have done so much stuff this summer to make it great. This summer wouldn't had been as great if it wasn't for some of my wonderful friends. I am so glad that I have such great friends to go threw life and experience things with.
This summer has definitely been one for the books. From sitting at home all day watching Netflix to always being on the go doing something. You name it, I have probably done it. God has definitely blessed me with such a great life and put great people in it.
Summer has been great but now all I can think about is school starting and finishing my summer assignment. Every time I think about starting my junior year my stomach turns. I think about how hard this school year is going to be. I think about the AP class that I will be in. I think about how hard everyone said Conner's class was. I think about how many classes that I am taking that are required for me to graduate. All of these things make me just want to some how skip ahead two years and be in college already.
I would honestly rather be half way done with college now and trying to open up my own orthodontics place. But I need to take it slow and live the life of a teenager while I still can.
I really wish that we still had longer than a few weeks of summer left but, I am ready to see how this year goes and all my friends that I didn't get to see but a few times over the summer.
Overall, this summer has been a really fun filled one. And I'm glad that I got to do it with some great people by my side. Even though school is starting, we can still have fun on the weekends and during the few breaks we get during the year.
I have the same struggles for this year except ill be doubling up!! AP English is going to kick my butt as well as mr. Conner. I'm not ready for a stressful year, but I am ready to see all of my old friends. But I didn't really do anything this summer which was kind of a bummer because we were supposed to go to the Grand Canyon but never got to.:( IM glad your summer was filled with lots of fun and great friends. -Angel Cash
ReplyDeleteThat's great that you had an awesome summer Wesley! I also went places and had fun but then stayed home and sat around. I visited with family and friends. But now that I think about how close school is it gives me chills. I feel like it is going to be one of the hardest years. There is so much that is expected to be done our junior year, and I think I'm starting to feel the wait of it all. But looking back I did have a good summer and am also ready to see my friends I didn't see over the summer. -Chloe Reese
ReplyDeleteWesley, I know when summer is ending, it feels as if the world is ending. I am very glad you had a summer full of happiness and fun. So glad that your friends made your summer a wonderful one. How could you just sit at home and watch Netflix when you had the whole summer to go out and swim? I want to skip my junior year and senior year, just as much as you do. But we have to learn as much knowledge right now so we can get into the college life style. Glad your summer was fun. - whitney
