So this
is my last blog and I wasn’t really sure about what I was going to write. I
decided that I would just write about the seasons. Everyone knows that there
are four seasons: summer, fall, winter, and spring. There are many wonderful
things in all four.
Summer
is probably my favorite season. It is my favorite because there is no school, I
get to go to the lake a lot, I get to sleep a lot, and there is plenty of time
to spend time with friends. Summer is usually so fun that it literally flies
by. The only downside about summer is that is ridiculously hot.
Next is
fall. Fall is definitely the most beautiful season. All of the orange, brown,
red, and yellow leaves just make everything beautiful. Tennis season is mainly
in fall, too. So that is definitely a plus. Thanksgiving also takes place in
fall. I absolutely love Thanksgiving! Then there is Halloween. I am not
actually the biggest fan of Halloween, though. I do like the left over candy my
family has.
Then
there is winter. Winter is the season of basketball. I spend endless nights in a gym with my
teammates. The NEA tournament is in winter, too. I like to spend every day that
I can just sitting there and watching all of the good games. It could not get any
better. Winter is also the season of Christmas, my absolute favorite holiday. I
get to see all of my family, celebrate Jesus, and get new things. It is also
fun getting to play in the snow and go sledding. I didn’t get to do that this
past year because it did not actually snow.
Last is
spring. Everything starts turning green, flowers start to bloom, and you go
from coats and sweats to shorts and t-shirts. Spring is a good time to go
practice tennis. While everyone else is playing baseball or softball I get to practice
tennis. Spring is also a time that I get to relax after school. Since there isn’t
basketball in spring I have a lot of time to do whatever I want.
I also love all of the seasons. They have so many different things I love about them. But I have to say Fall is probably my favorite. This is also because of the way the leaves change and how beautiful it is during this time of year. I also love Thanksgiving too. Even though Fall is my favorite I also love all of the other seasons too. I love summer because there is no school, Spring because of the flowers, and Winter because of Christmas. I liked reading this and seeing why you like each season, good job Hattie.
