Things I learned from anime/manga - Brittany Tucker (#16)

一 Not to judge someone by their reputations, but by their personalities
二 Hard work beats talent
三 Love is worth fighting for
四 Life without feeling isn't worthwhile
五 Revenge and hatred can only lead to more revenge and hatred
六 What others say about you doesn't matter
七 The love of a parent is eternal
八 No matter what, you should always believe in yourself
九 You shouldn't only dream about things, but actually achieve them
十 Never Give Up!
十一 Friends and family can make you stronger than you already are
十二 You can conquer anything if you put your mind to it
十三 Life is an endless adventure; enjoy it
十四 You can always be kind, even to your worst enemy
十五 Through hardships come rewards
十六 Nothing's wrong with having fears
十七 Kindness isn't the same as weakness
十八 Even if you've lost someone, you can still be strong
十九 There is always a reason to have confidence
二十 Keep trying, even if you think you can't do it
二十一 Always speak against evil, no matter the consequences
二十二 Behave honorable, even in exile
二十三 It's not over when you lose; it's over when you quit
二十四 You can't gain anything without first losing something
二十五 Don't let the circumstances of your life hold you back
二十六 Words can kill
二十七 Family and friends are the most important thing in life
二十八 You can die at anytime, but living takes courage
二十九 Always smile, even if you're facing death
三十 Fight for your ideals

  1. I don't really watch anime, so I don't have a vast knowledge of it. There is a younger girl from my church who is interested in it and she uses my phone to watch it sometimes. However, I think all of the things it has taught you is amazing. You need to know all of these things in life and it's very interesting to know that tv shows (?) can teach them to people. My favorite one was "revenge and hatred can only lead to more revenge and hatred. (I probably misquoted that but I'm too lazy to look it back up.) This was a very interesting post! -Kim Wilson
