Summer ‘18 has been one for the books. I have got to see my favorite bands such as Sugarland, Thomas Rhett, Luke Bryan, and Kenny Chesney. Concerts are my fav thing to go to, I always love the environment that a concert gives. The energy in the arena is so strong and getting to listen to your fav band sing all at the same time brings this wonderful feeling. No matter where I’m going or what I’m doing I always have music playing. I love to just listen to music, preferably country but I’ll listen to almost anything. Ever since I went to my first concert as a kid I have wanted to see as many as I possibly could. The loud music blaring through the speakers, tired feet from standing for 2 straight hours, or the sore throat from screaming lyrics at the top of your lungs, nothing can beat the experience that a concert gives.
For my sister’s graduation present my mom got her tickets to see Sugarland. As kids we would stand in the living room screaming “All I Want To Do” at the top of our lungs into our candlesticks. We have dreamed of seeing them in concert since we were young. Once we heard that they were going back on tour we were ecstatic. Last weekend we actually got to see them live in concert. We sang our hearts out to every single song they sang that night. It was the best night of our lives like for real. After the concert was over we walked back to the hotel, and all we could do was talk about how amazing the concert was. Even the walk back was great, it was the perfect temperature and it was so relaxing just listening to the breeze rustling through the leaves. When we got back we were all sharing photos and just kept going on and on. Summer ‘18 has not disappointed so far. Saturday I leave for New York and it’s going to be the best time. I have always wanted to go there and see all the beauty that it holds. Its has been a busy past few months, but I’ve been enjoying every second of it.
