Over the summer I got to visit both of the cities I used to live in. In this blog, I’m going to tell you guys what all I did in Mississippi. I stayed in Holly Springs for seven nights and eight days. I mainly went down there to celebrate a friend’s birthday, but I ended up staying and visiting everyone. Each night I was there, we went into the city and hung out with a couple of my friends and their families. I went to my old school, Marshall Academy, two of the days to see all of my friends that play basketball because the boys had practice everyday during the week. A couple of my friends and I went to Olive Branch to eat and shop. I was most excited about going to Velvet Cream in Hernando because all of my friends that live there always tell me that it’s the best snow cone place. Therefore, we went and got us snow cones and food from there for the first time, and it was all pretty good. We also had a photo shoot in the front with all of the signs. There was a fair in New Albany and two of my friends wanted to go, so I ended up going to my first ever fair. They begged me to ride the rides with them, but I did not end up riding any. While at the fair, I got to see a couple of old classmates barrel race. Towards the end of my trip, I ended up helping a friend of mine house sit a really big house in Potts Camp, so we got to go swimming and ride four wheelers while I was out there. For my friend’s birthday, a bunch of our friends went to eat and shop in Collierville, got popsicles at Mempops and went swimming in Byhalia. It was good to see all of my friends and some of my old teachers. Not only did I get to visit my friends, but I also met a lot of new people while I was down there.
