blog #6 -- carmen c.

wassup my girly pops and manly pops (i know here we go again with the youtube references) hope yall are having a wonderful day and summer, mine has been fantastic thank you for asking:) so little story time (not even a story just a briefing) tuesday was first tennis practice and omg it was hot but most importantly i had freakin fun (i know right being outside moving around alot just to hit a tiny ball a few feet, yuck) but it was actually fun and i think i love tennis. yeah i know i said the L word lets not panic folks, its fine really. so an ACTUAL story time. so last night i went out with a friend about 7ish and went to their house and talked to their parents while they was in the shower because they just got off work. okay well they have a cat and a chihuahua and their cat loves me but OMG THEIR DOG HATES ME OR SOMETHING BECAUSE IT WILL NOT LET ME PET IT AND IT JUST GROWLS but its also chihuahua so like it was one of those baby growls that is cute, anyway thats not the moral of the story. so after they showered we went riding around the levees and back roads and almost got stuck in someones field but its fine because we made it out. but anyhoo it was about 11:40 and we was a levee and a deer comes running in front of us, it was so scary i thought we was going to run off the levee and die. so we was heading back to my house to take me home and it was around 12:30 so i figured my sister would still be awake but NOOOO. i dont have a house key or anything so i was locked out of my house for a good 10 mins until my dad finally got the bright idea that i MIGHT ACTUALLY NEED INSIDE BEFORE I GOT CARRIED AWAY BY MOSQUITOES. so yeah thats the moral of the story dont leave your house at all because you will be locked out by your own family. okay so thats all i have in my brain right now, peace out homies. xoxo

  1. i’m really glad you’re enjoying your summer, mine’s going great as well! this summer has definitely not disappointed, but it has been really hot (haha). i’m in new york and i literally just had to stop to let horses cross. horses are apparently popular everywhere not just in arkansas. the weather is soooo nice. it’s only like 80 something, but there’s a great breeze blowing which makes it feel cooler. i have 30 more words to type and tbh idk what to say. i literally think i’ve walked 20 miles since i’ve been in new york and i haven’t even been here 24 hours. it’s so worth it tho. everything is so pretty here like the parks are gorg! peace out. -lexi hall
