Zeke Hill - 4

Back in 4th grade there was a contraption that spread through the elementary. We broke a mechanical pencil and made it to where it shot BB's out of them. All of the boys had one and would shoot each other in the bathroom just to mess around and have fun. The teachers kept finding BB's around school and had no idea where they came from, so we were going to keep using them until the teachers found out where they were from. Well one day a kid from 1st grade was being annoying in the bathroom so I shot him with one and he started crying. Well me and my friends ran out of the bathroom and two periods later we were called into the office. The principal asked us about the incident and like always we acted dumb. She told me to empty my pockets and one of the contraptions fell out onto the floor and the principal gave me a funny look. Then my other friend emptied his pockets and another fell out his pockets. The last kid in the principals office was Max, he used to go to school here. He emptied his pockets and about 200 BBs fell onto the floor and bounced around and sprawled everywhere. We busted out laughing. We ended up getting in trouble for it and got paddling's. That was the week of testing for the benchmark so we had to stay inside and sit in the hallways for our one hour recess. Well everybody came in screaming saying somebody was killing someone outside. And we were freaked out but the teachers wouldn't let us go back in the classroom because technically it was still recess. Well we found out that's not what was happening at all. It was a huge relief. Every body has fun and interesting elementary stories. I'm glad that I'm not near as dumb as I was in elementary but there were some fun times that helped me learn a lot.

  1. That actually sounds pretty fun. While I have never done anything along those lines, probably because I didn't have the ideas to think of it and the equipment, I would probably have done it. It was probably very fun and entertaining. It was probably for the best that it was not in high school. While it would have probably been more entertaining, we would have probably gotten into more trouble. It sounds as if your elementary days more fun than mine were. I don't like getting involved in mischief, but I do like to things that are fun and that some teachers probably would like it.
