Gage’s blog 4

So this year I decided to play baseball again. My dad always loved the sport and he always coached me in little league. We were actually pretty good. He caught in high school and evidently he was pretty good at it. He always told me he was, but I just figured he was telling me that, but everyone I’ve talked to has bragged about how good he is. But anyways, I’ve caught my whole life because that’s what he’s always taught me to play, and what he’s wanted me to play. Well after my 8th grade year I quit, for many reasons. One of those was because I knew being a 9th grader and going to practices, I wasn’t exactly on par with the seniors. I knew I’d sit my little butt on the bench and not do anything but carry equipment. Also dad was always on my tail about it and I just got tired of it. Well now 2 years later I can see his feelings are hurt. He missed watching me play. So I decided to give it a new try. And with coach brown, it’s fun. I enjoy it a lot actually. I caught this summer,-!: I’m not near as bad at it as I thought I was. With a little practice, by the time seasons here I’ll be good to go. I’m glad I do it for my dad because I can tell he loves watching me play. Mom said he tells her everytime about how proud he is of me when I play.
