So, I've recently started binge-watching Big Time Rush on Hulu. It's really weird to think about them all grown-up now. But, anyways, I started watching it again (when you're bored) and realized how much I missed seeing this show on Nickelodeon. Here's the run down of the show for those of you who don't know:
4 high school hockey players from Minnesota are recruited by the famous producer Gustavo (who has an obsession with song titles that have the word “girl” in them) to become the next big boyband Big Time Rush. The members: Logan, the brain, James, the face, Kendall, leader?/(not really) bad boy, and Carlos, the guy who likes to wear a helmet and run into things. These boys, on their way to fame, have many obstacles to overcome, while also aggravating the fire out Gustavo along the way.
It was really nostalgic to watch the show again. It felt like I was bringing my childhood back to life. (I will admit without shame that I totally screamed along to the theme song when I started watching it. Next thing you know I'll probably be watching Hannah Montana or Zack & Cody again lol). Watching these show again also made me think about the new show on Disney: Raven’s Home. It's the continuation of That's So Raven. You know… the girl that can see the future? (That's so Raven. It's the future I can see. That's so Raven. It's so mysterious to me.) Yeah, she's now a single mom with twins (boy and girl) living with her best friend Chelsea and her son in an apartment building. (In the show, not real life lol)
I guess the reason why I brought up Big Time Rush and That's so Raven is because it feels like my childhood was a very long time ago. I mean, were going to be Juniors in high school this year! That's just crazy! I still remember when we all first started going to the new high school in the seventh grade! It feels like that wasn't long ago, at all. We'll all be off to college in less than about two, short, years!
Funny how old shows you used to watch as a kid really make you think about where you are now.
And…. I'm leaving it at that.

Big Time Rush!! I loved watching that show when it was on Nickelodeon. I had every single one of their songs on my phone. My favorite in the band was Logan. He was always my favorite and I had the biggest crush on him. I also really like Kendall. I could honestly go for rewatching the show. Some other shows that I would like to rewatch from my childhood include The Suite Life of Zach and Cody, Hannah Montanna, and Zoey 101. Oh, and Drake and Josh. Rewatching those shows makes me go back to my childhood when I didn't have any worries. - Tiffany F.
ReplyDeleteOMG i used to love big time rushed. I’ve probably watched every episode of Big Time Rush. That was the thing to do when I was younger to watch all those shows. My all time favorite show was probably Suite life or Deck. I’ve probably watched every episode of that show atleast 3 times. Though the biggest throwback show that will always be the best is Hannah Montana. That show makes me think about my childhood because I loved it soooooo much. I was super sad when all of my favorite shows ended because now disney shows are trash compared to the older ones.
