This past weekend had to be one of the best if not the best of my life. My sister and her boyfriend bought me a ticket to the NASCAR race at Kentucky Speedway this past Saturday. We got up at about 4:30 or so in the morning and made almost a 7 hour drive up to Sparta, Kentucky. We finally got there and checked into our hotel room. We turned right around and decided to head to the track early so we could get in easier. Some NASCAR workers drove us up to the gates at the front of the track. The size of the track was amazing. We sat in row 3 coming off of turn 4. The flyover was amazing also. Everytime the cars would come around you could feel the ground shake and then it was just a blur. Even though we didn't really see a lot of action like wrecks or spins or super close racing, it was still awesome. I won't complain though because that was probably the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me. Yesterday before we came back we stopped by Ark Encounter. It was a replica of Noah's Ark. It was huge. It was 7 stories tall with like 4 different floors you could go on. It had just about every animal Noah had on board and bibles preserved from AD 200s.

I am glad that you had an amazing time at the NASCAR race. I would of definitely needed a nap before going to the race track, but whatever. I am happy that you have a great experience from the race. Now on to the Ark Encounter, I think that is really cool and neat that you got to stop and see it. I will definitely have to talk my parents into taking me their to see it. Anyway, I hope that is close enough to one hundred words, because I don’t have anything else to say. Peace out!! -Hailey
ReplyDeleteThat's cool that you went to watch a NASCAR race. I bet it was really quiet there. That would be really cool to be able to see a replica of Noah's ark. It's cool that you got to go and see what you love watching. Maybe this is the first of many and you will get to see many more NASCAR races in person . - Zeke
