Zeke Hill - 5
The 2018 Major League Baseball All-Star break was amazing. There were 8 home runs in the futures game. The futures game is where players who are expected to be superstars in the future play. A dodger prospect, Yusinel Diaz hit two home runs alone during the game. Also the home run derby was a blast, literally. The number eight seed Rhys Hoskins beat the number one seed, Jesus Aguilar, with a score of 17-12. The number four seed Kyle Schwarber beat the number five seed, Alex Bregman, with a score of 16-15. The number three seed Max Muncy beat the number six seed, Javier Baez, with a score of 17-16. The number two seed Bryce Harper beat the number seven seed, Freddie Freeman, with a score of 13-12. The number four seed Kyle Schwarber beat the number eight seed, Rhys Hoskins, by a walk off homerun as time expires with a score of 21-20. The number two seed Bryce Harper beats the number three seed, Max Muncy, with a score of 13-12. The finals ended up being The number two seed Bryce Harper and the number four seed, Kyle Schwarber. Bryce Harper ends up beating Kyle schwarber with a score of 19-18 while Bryce Harper hit 9 home runs in 50 seconds. In the all star game there was a Major League Baseball record amount of home runs. The all star game consisted of 10 home runs. Before the game the American League had won 43 games and the National League had won 43 games. Aaron Judge, Mike Trout, Wilson Contreras, Trevor Story, Jean Segura, Christian Yelich, Scooter Gennett, Alex Bregman, George Springer, and Joey Votto all hit home runs. The American League bested the National League in 10 innings with back to back homers from George springer and Alex Bregman. Alex Bregman got the All Star game MVP award. During the All Star break my favorite team, the Los Angeles Dodgers, traded 5 prospects for Manny Machado. Manny Machado is a power hitter that plays shortstop and will help our lineup tremendously.

i honestly didn’t know you was such a baseball fan. but i absolutely love it, like people always complain about how it’s a quite sport but it’s not rlly people just make it seem like it is. bryce harper and mike trout are literally my husbands too. i usually watch the home run durby every year but i didn’t watch it this year idk why, but bryce won and it made me sooo happy. i adore them and would gladly take them from their wives lol. but anyway i’m glad to see you enjoying baseball and summer. — carmen c.
