Hailey’s blog #8
Over the extra time that I have had this summer, I picked up a habit of coloring. Let me tell you, coloring is the way to go when you are bored or need something to calm your nerves. My mom bought me some adult coloring books that are a bunch of coloring pages of flowers, because of you didn’t know, I love flowers. So, I have been coloring as much as possible and it has helped me make some important decisions, because it helps calm my nerves and helps me be able to think about what can or will happen. Also, coloring is just releaxing. It helps calm your nerves and you get a beautiful picture out of it. I usually use marked because it makes a dark print on the paper and it doesn’t leave lines like colored pencils. So, I usually have messy hands from all of the markers, but it is definitely worth it. I have almost completed a whole book already, and I honestly have no idea where to hang them in my room. All of my walls in my room are covered in either pictures, decorations, a dresser, or medal racks. So, I have extremely limited space and basically have no where to put these pretty pictures. So, for know I have a folder the I have put them in and maybe I will find somewhere to put them later on. That’s all I have and I think everyone should try coloring, because it is truly a miracle!! Ps. I only have 3 more to go and I’m so excited!!!

Girl, I love to color! Nothing calms me down better than a coloring sheet and perfectly sharpened colored pencils. I also like to use crayons, but I’m not really a big fan of markers. They’re so messy and kind of stress me out, to be honest. My mom also loves to color. She colors way more than me. She colors to help relieve the stress of her job. As you know, she is a college teacher and she has what seems like a thousand papers to grade each night. When she is overwhelmed, she colors and it relaxes her. This hobby really does work miracles!

I can relate so much. I love to color, although it usually helps me calm my mind and not really think about anything besides just the simple task of coloring in a picture and staying in the lines. I usually color with crayons, sometimes colored pencils. My favorites are usually bright colors, but I'll add dark colors too. Ariana, my niece, likes to color whenever she's over, so we always end up coloring together, with her getting bored quickly while I'm still coloring about thirty minutes later, lol. I have a section of my wall where I've just hung up the things I've colored or doodled.
