Lexi b’s blog #10

Wooo, one more blog after this one! I’m so happy that I am almost finished with these things! I’ve already finished the book part, so I’m on the home stretch. Summer is about halfway over and I have mixed feelings about it. Part of me never wants summer to end. I could sleep in and swim everyday for the rest of my life and never get tired of it. The other part of me is ready for school. This is the first school year I’ve ever been excited for. This coming year, I plan to be in FBLA, FCCLA, Beta, Science Club, Student Council, and Yearbook. It seems like a lot, but I think it’s going to be worth it. This past year, I was only in three clubs. It was fun, but I found myself with lots of free time frequently. Also, I’m ready for back to school shopping. I LOVE shopping. Anyone who has ever seen my closet can back up this statement. I believe that you can never own too many shoes or too many multipurpose clothing pieces. Any reason to go shopping (party, wedding, or even school) is a reason to make me happy. Speaking of weddings, I have one to attend next Friday. I have a few outfits picked out, but I haven’t decided which one I’m gonna wear. My outfits include a yellow wrap dress, a blue simple dress, and a romper. The wedding is going to be ourside, and it’s gonna be like a million degrees. No matter what I pick, I will sweat majorly. I don’t think it’ll be too bad, though. Any time I get to dress up, I have a good time. Three days after the wedding, we leave for the beach. I’m pretty excited for this. I’ve been to about 10 states, but I’ve surprisingly never been to the beach. We’re going to Orange Beach, Alabama. I’ve seen plenty of pictures from this area and it looks like a dream! We’re only staying for a few days, but it’ll still be an unforgettable trip. I’ll make sure to pack my cutest bathing suits and plenty of sunscreen.
