Lexi B’s blog #6
Wooo, I am six blogs in! That means only five more after this! It is the first day of July. I seriously cannot believe that. June went by so fast. I’m gonna need summer to slow down a little bit. So far, my summer has been spent shopping, riding around, swimming, and going to the Humane Society. My days are pretty much routine: wake up between 9 and 10, swim, hang with Kaitlyn, and got to sleep between 10 and 11 pm. This past Friday my routine was messed up. I woke up at 3:30 am. There was a mosquito in my room. This may seem like a minor inconvenience, but I am extremely allergic to mosquitoes. One little bite turns into a huge welt that itches horribly. I couldn’t pull the blanket up to cover the skin vulnerable to bites, because my room was hot. I tried my hardest to go back to sleep. I tossed and turned for about 30 minutes until I decided my attempts were destined for failure. I sluggishly took my pillow and my phone to the living room. I plopped down on the couch and started the search for something to watch. For you hooligans who are up at 4 in the morning, you guys understand that there is NOTHING on! I scrolled through about 200 channels of paid advertising and weird shows from the 70s before I found “Four Weddings” on TLC. I watched this until my dad got up at 5:30. Boy, he was SHOOK when he saw me wake that early. We had a good conversation about the morning I had been having. After he left for work about 10 minutes later, I went to Shipley’s to get donuts. If I’m up that early, I might as well make the most of it. I took a four hour nap once I got home from my early morning breakfast. It was a strange morning. I will never ever wake up at 3:30 again, because it honestly sucked. I’m more than happy sleeping until nearly noon.

I completely agree with you that summer is going way to fast. It does not feel like it should already be July. And I hate it when my sleep routine is messed up, because usually when my dogs wake up they are ready to play. So, that results with me never getting to take a nap. Also, I hate mosquitoes. Recently, one has bite me on the eyebrow and it swelled up. So, I have this big bump on my eyebrow and who knows when it will go down. However, I am not allergic, so I don’t know how that feels. Hopefully you won’t waken up by any more mosquitoes!! —Hailey
ReplyDeleteYou were excited about your sixth blog I’m happy I’m finally just finishing this thing. It shouldn’t be a day before school starts I hate that summer went by fast. Also my routine is so messed up I’m not prepared. I literally had the same problems last night mosquitoes make me swell up to and the itch is so baddd. Then if I try to cover up I get hot and want to uncover, but as soon as I do they’ll find me and bite me. So I’ll get up turn on the light at like 3 in the morning hunting the little suckers... oh well. I love sleeping till noon to and now that’s all over till next summer. This was my last comment it’s been good this was relatable on another level. // -Grace Anne
