There are many benefits of exercising whether it's running, walking, lifting weights, or simply just doing common things around the house. The reason they call walking or running, cardio, is because it exercises your heart. The heart is a cardiovascular muscle. Cardiovascular is another word for circulatory. The reason the heart is a cardiovascular muscle is because it helps push blood throughout your body. Blood that comes from the heart can give cells oxygen, amino acids, retain a good temperature, and stabilize your ph. Running or walking can exercise your cardiovascular system and help with blood flow and be able to do many things for longer times without having to catch your breath, which is very helpful if you play any sports. By lifting weights you can make any of your 650 muscles stronger or more helpful to everyday life. Lifting weights can also help lower your blood pressure and lower your cholesterol. You can even help gain a better posture by strengthening your core. There are two main types of working out. There is an exercise called isotonic, and isometric. Isotonic is when you lift weights by contracting and relaxing your muscles. Isometric is when you work against an unmovable force, such as push ups or sit ups. Walking can also help your cardiovascular muscles by exercising it while not putting as much as a strain on your body. While it may sound strange, walking is very helpful to your mental state. By walking half an hour everyday you can improve your mood, help your creativity come out, and make it to where you start to make some things into everyday things.

What’s up Zekequil! I have missed you this summer. Yes there’s a lot of benefits to working out and I should work out more often but it’s not my favorite to do. I’ve been trying to run and do push ups more but I often find some excuse to get out of doing them. Though lately I’ve been working out with my cousin braden. We will go up to the gym and we’ll shoot some, play one on one, and run. Even though it’s not a lot it’s defiently a workout. By the time we’re done i’m drenched in sweat. So yea, see you monday!
