Once he touched
down in Sumira, the Mission Giver called him. He quickly pulled his phone out
of his pocket and answered.
“Her name is unknown and we don’t know what she looks like or who she is, but she will be on a train that leaves at 11:30 for Izuma and Terasu, so you’ll need to hurry.”
David looked at his wristwatch, and realized it was 11:15, and he was a fair distance away from the train station.

“How will I be
able to tell who she is?” David questioned.
The Mission
Giver replied, “You can tell by her scent.”
He ran back to
his plane, jumping on the motorcycle that he kept on it. Taking off, he rushed
to the train station, hoping he would make it there before the train leaves.
He weaved through the busy streets of the city.
As he got off his bike, a small dark-haired girl bumped into him. For a moment, he swore he smelled a demon near him, but shrugged it off. He thought, that can’t be her, she’s too puny.
He checked the time again, speeding up at the sight of the clock minutes away from striking 11:30. He rushed to the train, boarding just as it took off from the station.
David found a spot to sit after his rushed arrival to the train. After a few minutes, the Mission Giver called him again, telling him that the students of Izuma had something about that made them different from the Terasu students. He watched as the girl that bumped into him earlier walked past, looking for a place to rest. He caught the scent of a demon as she walked past, and realized that he could have been wrong in his assessment of her.
He stood, creeping into the conductor’s room silently.
He peeked into the room, and found an elderly man operating the train.
A guard noticed him and yelled, “Hey, you can’t go in there!”
He turned to the man, pulling out his gun.
