The Movement Youth Group-whitney wagganer
Every wednesday night, my church in blytheville, arkansas, has a youth group, like most churches. Our youth group is called the Movement Youth Group. Our youth pastor's name is Drew Robbins. He is married to Mrs. Dearia Robbins. They have two kids named Brnylee Grace, who is three years old, and Briar Andrew, who is not even one yet. Everyone tries to come between 6:30 and 6:45 PM, so we can all socialize and say our "hellos" and hug. The service doesn't start until like 7:05. Everyone at the movement is super kind. The people i mostly talk to are Madison Thomas, she's my all time best friend, Hannah Griffin, Callie Kenimore, Brianna Dunham, Haleigh Toombs, Jordan Buck, and of course all the youth leaders like Lindsey and Corey Branson. At the movement, we usually start of by playing a game. Some of the games we play are horse, rider, princess, which just so happens to be my favorite game. We also play bunny, bunny, bottle flipping, basketball dunk off, guess random songs or shows, and play many versions of rock, paper, scissors. Usually after the game we play, Pastor Drew calls everyone up to the front so we can go into worship. The people who lead worship is Madison Thomas and her father Chris Thomas and Brianna Dunham. Kit Thomas, who is Madison's brother, plays the guitar for us. Sometimes, Austin Middleton plays the drums for us. During worship, we usually sing either two or three songs. After the songs, Pastor Drew comes up and tells us to go back to our seats but either tells us to give a high five or give a hug to someone. After we all find our red seats, we usually watch an announcement video on what's going on in the church or any trips coming up. Next, Pastor Drew asks the youth group a question that correlates with their message he's going to preach about. We sit there for about 45 minutes and listen to the message. Then we have an alter call. After the alter call, we all circle up and hold hands and pray for each other, because we are one big family.
