Life --Jo Baker- #22!!!!!!!!
Life is one big gamble. At least that's what it feels like sometimes. Every single time you have to make a choice, either thing you pick can lead you down a different path. The choices you make are the ones that lead you to the rest of the choices you have to make throughout your life. Life is like one big maze that never has a way out, only pleasant paths at times. And when you make it to the end of the maze you can rest. This maze isn't necessarily a bad one. It can be amazing at times traveling through it. And sometimes it can have heart ache and you think you'll never make it. But other times you feel so exhilarated and happy that you feel you could run through it for forever. I read a quote once, it said "The choices you make are what define you" And I think this might be one of the truest things I've ever read. Every choice you make either helps you or can hurt you in the end. Hopefully if you make the right choice for you, you will be okay. But I believe even if you make the wrong choice you can get back on the right path. You just have to try harder than you ever imagined possible. Life is a gamble, Just make sure that it's you holding the dice. Another quote that I read said "Everybody has a story, If you don't write your own somebody else may wind up writing it for you." I think this is also absolutely true. If you don't take control of your path in this maze called life somebody else may take your path and achieve the greatness that was meant for you. Take your own story and write it the way that you want. Or else you will never be happy. You were given a life. And life is a precious, amazing thing. Do the things that bring happiness to you. Or else you will have lived a life where you didn't get all the happiness you could've.

Hi jo!!! I'm ready to see you tomorrow and I hope your summer was good. But I love all of your writings, and agree with a lot of what you say. Life is a very big thing, and it's full of choices. Most people get the misconception that life is easy. And they blame themselves for a wrong choice. I try not to do that, I try not to dwell on bad decisions. At the time they were good decisions, and what you wanted. So of course dwell in the present, and make the decisions and choices that will best help you.
