At the beginning of my tenth grade year, I went to Valley View until mid September. I didn't really like it there. So then I moved to Riverside. Best decision I made in my entire life. At Riverside, I love the people there. More than ninety precent of them are actually kind. The teachers are very laid back and chill. Which is a very good thing, I believe. I also enjoy we could graduate at Riverside with classes you'd take in college but you're getting them free in high school. Everyone at Riverside you talk to, are not stuck up. The people i mostly associate with , is Wesley Jordan, Hattie Milligan, Haven Robertson, Bailey Fisher, Karlee Sanders, Austin Smith, Lotti Hoffman, Braden Overman, Gavin Stone, Dylan Austin, Brittney Sain, Hayden Mathis, and Jon Milligan. I like to talk to everyone else, but those are the people i talk to more than anyone else.
Every morning, at seven, the Riverside Lady Rebels work out in the morning. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday we do shooting drills to make sure when season starts we're all getting buckets from any distance. On Tuesday and Thursday, we lift weight and do explosive training, so we'll be able to not get pushed around and fight the other players back when they push us. Working out does get very tiring and you feel like you're dying, but when the season starts, all these mornings will be worth it. Plus it's great because you get to work out and shoot with your best friends every morning.
Now that i am a junior in high school, i hope that this year is going to be a year of remembrance. So far though, it's been a year of stress and it's only the second week. I enjoy we did get our own Cromebooks, but i already miss paper because that's all i've ever known. I think it will help a lot of students not get behind and help the teachers know more and not believe the excuses the students try to use. All in all, i'm very glad i moved to Riverside, and i hope to graduate from there.
