DT:OS Part 4 - Gabe Poe #7

“Try to stop me.” He says, eyes flooding red.
The guard backed away, allowing David to push past the operator, and fired three shots into the dashboard of the train. The train came to a screeching halt as he left the room, moving to a different car. He noticed the students had moved into the back of the train, taking quick strides to get to them. He stopped when the students came into view.
“Come out; come out, wherever you are, Demon Queen. I know you’re here.”
David stepped into the hallway, noticing how full it was with students who were most likely going to Izuma.
“Where is she? I know she’s here! I can smell her!” He sniffed the air, turning his gaze to a tall young man with a sword in his hand. “You know where she is, don’t you? Her scent is all over you.”
The young man readied his sword. “You won’t touch her,” he growled, attacking.
David deflected the attack effortlessly, pulling his broadsword from the sheath.
He knew that he couldn't kill these students. They were just defending the train from what looked like a madman trying to kill a creature that shouldn't even be alive.
The Mission Giver gave him a prototype bullet that could knock anyone out that it touched. The problem with it was that it felt like an actual bullet, and the students didn’t know about it. It wasn’t exactly something the media advertised.
He raised his gun and got ready to fire at the students when he saw the small girl from earlier. Her dark hair turned golden and her brown eyes became an eerie glowing blue. For a split second, David felt himself fearing for his life. He panicked and began to fire wildly at her. She ran towards him, attacking with a sphere of darkness that no man or demon had ever seen.
The last thing he saw was the power of the Demon Queen’s power manifesting in the human realm.

  1. Dear Babe Snow/Gabe Poe. I believe you are a great writer and a great friend even though I annoy you. I also think that you are like me and waited until last minute to post all of your blogs and comments. Anyways, I hope you continue to write and be yourself. I hope your summer was good, and you're prepared for 11th grade!!!
