Fishing Trip: Haven Robertson

I have done so many great things this summer and have had many great experiences but there is one that I know I will never forget and that is a fishing trip that I went on. This was probably the greatest/funniest fishing trips I have ever been on. I went with my dad, Len B, and his daughter DeLaney.
  On Saturday, August 6th, my dad woke me up at 5 in the morning. I was not very happy about it but I was ready to get the day started. So, I got changed and got in the truck. We were going to the lake in Sardis, Mississippi. Dad drove us to the shop were we got the boat ready and met Len B and DeLaney. DeLaney and I were very tired so we both slept the whole way there which was about two hours. I remember waking up around the time that got to the lake. We got out of the truck and headed down to the boat ramp. It was really weird but it seemed like right after we got all of our poles in the water, we began catching fish! You never know how many fish you will catch but this was a great surprise. My dad, Len B, and I each had 3 poles out. This was DeLaney's first time fishing so she was not very into it. Lol
  The trip turned out to be a huge success. But, DeLaney did get fined by a fish so that was a bummer but besides that, we had a great time. We caught 40 fish but only got to keep the ones that were 12" or more which was 13. I don't get to spend very much time with my dad outside of him working and me playing basketball. I was so excited that I got to share this experience with him. And, not to mention getting to fish with my cousins Len B and DeLaney(which was hilarious!) This trip was a great experience, one that I will cherish forever.
